Jason R. Blumenthal graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law in December 2018 and Northern Illinois University School of Public and Global Affairs with a Masters in Public Administration in May 2019. Before law school, he attended Bradley University where he double majored in Political Science and Economics.

After law school, Jason began his municipal career working for the City of DeKalb as a management analyst. He then worked for DuPage County, where he served in various roles, ending as the Assistant Director of Operations. He oversaw the Building and Zoning Department and Supervisor of Assessments Office and served as the County Board liaison to the Judiciary and public safety agencies. Jason’s experience as both a public administrator and attorney allow him to assist clients from a unique perspective.

Jason is involved with the Illinois State Bar Association where he currently serves as the Chair of the Young Lawyers Division, the former Chair of the Local Government Section Council, Council Member for Government Lawyers Committee, and serves on the Illinois Delegation to the American Bar Association.

On a personal note, Jason lives in Johnsburg, Illinois, where he currently serves on the McHenry County Sheriff’s Merit Commission. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Bar Foundation.
