Parents of deceased teenage daughter sued Village for failing to enforce its municipal code regarding sightlines at the intersection where daughter was killed in a car accident. Mike Bersani successfully argued that the Illinois Tort Immunity Act barred the claims and that the Village did not have a duty of care to enforce its ordinance. Pouk v. Vill. of Romeoville, 405 Ill.
