André A. Sutton

André joined Hervas, Condon, and Bersani in 2019 and represents government officials and governmental entities in civil rights, employment, and personal injury cases. Prior to joining the firm, André handled cases from a variety of practice areas which include torts, labor and employment, municipal liability, and workers’ compensation. His litigation experience derives from working at a civil defense firm and at local and federal government agencies in the Chicagoland area.

While in law school, André served as an Associate Justice on the Moot Court Honors Executive Board. He has competed on two national Moot Court teams and served as a Teacher’s Assistant for first year law students. When not practicing law or serving the community, André enjoys traveling, cooking, and binge-watching shows on Netflix/Hulu.

André graduated from the John Marshall Law School in 2017 and earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida in 2011. He is admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
